There is little difference between High Density Eucalyptus (Shorea) and Teak when broken down to their core essence. The biggest attribute of High Density Eucalyptus (Shorea) is undoubtedly the strength of the timber. It's renowned for its excellent resistance to every day wear and tear. It is extremely durable and tightly grained to produce a desirable density. It remains unaffected by all variations in weather especially its resistance to damp conditions makes itself extremely competent at combating insect attacks and decay. Our traditional styled Folding Adirondack is approx. 31" wide x 36" deep x 36" tall and made of western red cedar. Each chair folds to approx. 31" wide x 12-1/2" deep x 46" length for easy storage. This makes the storage size 1/3 the unfolded size (please click onto the folded inset picture). The Adirondack is shipped partially assembled with a comfortable contoured seat.

All of our patio furniture products are made from natural tight knotty Western Red Cedar with non-staining hardware. Western Red Cedar is lightweight dimensionally stable and naturally resistant to splitting cupping and warping. Western Red Cedar gives our patio furniture strength beauty & natural resistance to the elements.

**We are using Silicone Magic with a cedar tint to enchance the finish. It is Ecologically safe water based clear drying penetrating and highly flexible film. Extensive breathability allowing air to escape from substrate. Silicon Magic has excellent water-repelling characteristics for long term protection. Additonal properties include excellent resistance to mildew chemicals and UV - with exceptional additives for UV mildew and insect protection. as well as color enhancement. As with any finish the wood will darken a bit but will bring out the red found in the cedar's grain.**
